Mindfulness for Families

This series of five classes is for parents and children (~ 8 years and older) who want to learn more about what Mindfulness is and how the practice of Mindfulness Meditation can help both adults and children reduce anxiety and increase enjoyment and relaxation in our everyday lives. Parents will work with Ruth Lera for a one hour session each week. Children will work with Christine Klassen-St Pierre for 45 minutes, followed by a light snack. We strongly encourage at least one parent to participate if a child is registered.

Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:30pm
September 5, 12, 19, 26 & October 3
at LDAY Centre for Learning, 128A Copper Road

Fee: $50 - $100 suggested per participant (pay what you can)

About Ruth Lera:
Ruth Lera is trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Meditation Instruction, as well as multiple energy healing modalities. About Christine Klassen-St Pierre:
Christine has worked in education for over 28 years. She is a certified mindfulness teacher with Mindful Schools and has helped students from 5-18 years old self-regulate, focus and learn more about their brains and how they work. It has been a life changing tool for her and she loves every chance she has to share this with others.
